And here is a video I made holding my phone in my hand and playing every single player with a crude home printed version of Pretending to Grownup.

Kicktraq says we're on par to hit our goal but it's also really helpful if everyone shares the project and messages their favourite gaming site. Let's do this!

Five New Stretch Goals Added! + Sarah Anderson Unlocked!

Grownups! We did it! We hit 100K!

I think as I write this we're about $108K and everything is in Canadian dollars if your numbers are looking different... anyway we did it!

So I've added five new talented and extremely funny cartoonists bringing our bonus deck of cards to 25 if we unlocked them. (Kicktraq says we'll make it to 240,000 CAD)

Here are the new goals so you don't have to scroll through the main campaign:

 

 

 

 

 

It's a real privilege to have such a great guest list be part of this project!

Also I swear that gameplay flow video is coming. I just have to do a new one, the hotel room video just wasn't very good. I've been in reactive mode rather than proactive mode since this campaign started going nuts... it's coming!

Megan McKay Livestream + First Guest Art + New Stretch Goal Teaser

Hi grownups!

Pretending to Grownup main artist Megan McKay already does awesome live streams pretty regularly but tonight she's doing a Drink & Draw with Pigeon Gazette, Cheer Up Emo Kid and Imogen Quest! Check it out here!

Also I got some artwork from David Daneman of The Danemen (the one where the world is populated by just David Daneman). Here is the art for a card that will become "Lie About Flossing":

 

Also it looks like we're REALLY close to unlocking Sarah's Scribbles!

After that I'll have five more comics for bonus cards to announce... I don't want to give anything away but one of them rhymes with Blyanide and Blappiness.

More Stretch Goals Unlocked + Gameplay Flow

Hi grownups!

We've unlocked card quality upgrades, and two bonus cards from By Crom! and Whomp!

Also I'm having trouble with transferring videos from my phone so rather than make you wait longer, here is a rough version of the rules.

The campaign is going quite well and I'm racking my brain trying to think of new stretch goals! More will be coming :)

Hi Grownups,

PEOPLE WHO WERE RALLYING FOR SARAH'S SCRIBBLES - YOU DID IT!

 Sarah will now be the $100,000 goal!

Also I'm going to be perfectly honest, there has been zero interest in the the backer submitted art tier, so I added one of the most versatile comic creators out there in it's place AC STEWART:

 

This is my last day at New York Comic Con so after this the updates won't be so quickly thrown together. I also need to update some images for the campaign so that will be coming too. The gameplay flow video is done but I haven't been able to make it upload, it's on it's way too.

So happy to have Sarah and Andy as part of the campaign.
